The buck pen
So y'all a week or so ago we moved Cinch, Grace's baby buckling into the pen with Boot's because he is starting to get really friendly with the ladies. Buck's can start breeding as early as 7 weeks and with our boy being born March 4. It was time to move him. It was a sad day to move him into the buck pen because he is just so sweet and loves his momma. Last night I decided to let him out for a little bit and watch him closely so I could get some love and let him and momma Grace visit for a bit. He came right to me and I swear he hugged me. I just absolutely melted. I turned around because I just knew no one had seen it, but my husband was looking at me and he just started laughing because he knew I could die happy now!
When I tell y'all, I love the bond I have with these goat's, I truly do. I never have thought that these babies would show me such love. Cinch is definitely a little sweetheart. Our boy boot's who was our first goat was nice at first and turned very aggressive. My husband say's he just get's excited, but I beg to differ. Boots has tried to kill me a number of times and maybe it's because I'm a female, but I always say we have a "long distance relationship."
The last time I was around boot's he charged at the gate literally almost knocking me out because I was trying to let Meg out of the pen. Knocked me on the ground and I had a big bump on my head for a few day's. So I don't mess with him too much, I'll leave that for the hubby to deal with after that situation!!
Until next time y'all!! :)
